Assumptions and Estimates

The purpose of the Assumptions and Estimates (A&E) Report is to describe data and information sources that will be used to develop technical information for California Water Plan Update 2009. We are distributing a draft of the A&E Report two years before releasing the final California Water Plan Update 2009 to solicit public comment early in the planning process. We will publish the final A&E Report in December 2008, along with the Public Review Draft of Update 2009.

We are interested in hearing about additional informaion sources and general comments about improving the usefulness of the A&E report. DWR is asking for comments on the draft A&E Report by June 30, 2008, and will use the comments to improve the data and information that go into Update 2009. Please direct suggestions to:
